The Beauty of the Archipelago and Its Fascinating History
Day 1: Experience Nättraby and Skärva Manor Start your journey with a scenic boat trip from Karlskrona to Nättraby. Visit the medieval church and cycle through the charming village to Skärva Manor, a unique country estate with an English-style park. Spend the night at the manor or the nearby Verstorps Gård—both part of the UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 2: Karlskrona and Kungsholmen Choose to cycle or take the boat back to Karlskrona. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Kungsholmen, a historic part of the city’s defenses. Explore the exotic park, filled with plants brought back by sailors from their long voyages. Overnight stay at a cozy hotel in town.
Day 3: Aspö – An Island Rich in History Take the ferry to Aspö, a cyclist’s paradise with stunning routes, a military museum, and the impressive Kastellet fortress. Spend the night in the old pilot tower, now a charming archipelago hotel.
Day 4: Cycling Around Karlskrona End your adventure by discovering delightful cycling routes in and around Karlskrona. The daily stages are 10–15 km, but there’s always room to explore more.
